Outlook
Express Mail Configuration
- Locate on the desktop or in the "Start" menu "Outlook
Express."
- Goto the "Tools" menu and choose "Accounts"

- In the "Internet Accounts" screen click on the "Mail" tab.

- Listed
blow will be all the e-mail that is currently set-up if there are any
that you are not using anymore click on one and press the "Remove"
button to the right. Repeat until all the accounts you no longer need
have been removed.
- To the right press the "Add" button and choose "Mail..."
- The
first screen asks for you name. This will appear to people you send
mail to. Type in your name how you wish it to appear to them.

- Press the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.
- In the next screen enter your e-mail address. This should
be in all lower case
.
- Press the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.
- The next screen if for the server information. The top box
should already say "POP3."
- The
following 2 boxes need to be filled in with the domain part of your
address. This is the part that follows the "@" in your address. (If you
e-mail address is janedoe@oregonfcu.com then the domain part is
oregonfcu.com.)

- Press the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.
- In
the account name screen Outlook has probably shortened your e-mail
address to just your user name, you need to correct this and have your
full e-mail address appear there.
- Enter your password for the account.
- Leave the "Remember Password" check and the "Log on using
Secured Password Authentication" unchecked.
- Press the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.
- You should be at the "Congratulations" screen shown below.
If so click finish and skip to step 23.
- Some
versions of Outlook Express will walk you through choosing a
connection. On this screen choose to connect using a "LAN" connection.
- Press the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.
- If asked to name the connection use the default that
Outlook Express entered for you.
- Press the "Next" button at the bottom of the screen.
- You should be at the "Congratulations" screen shown below.
If so click finish.
- Close the "Internet Accounts" screen.
